My Mission

Yoga is a Sanskrit word that means “to yoke,” “to unite,” or “to join.” Many people believe that yoga is all about the poses and stretching, but the physical practice of yoga is only a small piece of a much bigger puzzle. Asana (meaning poses or posture) is only one of the eight limbs of yoga. Since I started practicing yoga, I have grown to love it and myself. I found space to heal and grow mentally, physically, and spiritually. I decided to start this blog and brand to create a safe space for other yogis hoping to deepen their practice, like me. A place with resources, learning materials, personal stories, and experiences to help build a positive community for people to connect.

I hope to create a yoga experience and community that feels welcoming and accessible to everyone, no matter your background, body, or experience level. My classes are gentle, supportive, and full of options so you can practice in a way that feels good for you. I truly believe yoga is for everybody, and my mission is to encourage a safe and inclusive space where you can connect with your breath and body, find calm, and build a practice that naturally fits into your life.

If you are looking to connect with a great community, learn something about yoga (and possibly yourself), or deepen your practice, I promise you will find it here. I have your back, this community has your back, and most importantly, your yoga mat has your back. Namaste.

About me

Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a 24-year-old yoga teacher from NY with a deep love for movement, nature, and connection. I’ve been practicing yoga for about 8 years and am a 200-hour RYT, trained in teaching Hatha and Vinyasa styles. My own journey with yoga hasn’t been without challenges—an elbow injury has given me a personal understanding of the struggles that come with practicing yoga while managing injuries, and it’s inspired me to help make yoga accessible and approachable for everyone.

When I’m not on the mat, you’ll usually find me outdoors hiking, walking, or kayaking, and soaking up the beauty of nature. I also love spending time with my family, friends, and pets, who bring so much joy and grounding to my life. I love traveling, trying new foods, curling up with a good book, and crocheting.
