Changing the way you think about yoga.

One blog post at a time.

Welcome to Beyond Breath Yoga

Hi, Iโ€™m Elizabeth! Yoga has been my space to grow, heal, and connect with my body, my mind, and myself. I practice from a place of understandingโ€”having an elbow injury myself has taught me how to adapt, listen to my body, and connect with others who face challenges in their practice. I started Beyond Breath Yoga to create a space where yoga feels inclusive for everyone, regardless of experience, body, or ability.

Here, youโ€™ll find tips, stories, and resources to help you deepen your practice, move mindfully, and enjoy yoga in a way that feels good for you. Whether youโ€™re a beginner or a longtime yogi, this is a space to explore, breathe, and grow together.

โ— About me

Hi! Iโ€™m Elizabeth, a 24-year-old yoga teacher from NY with a deep love for movement, nature, and connection. Iโ€™ve been practicing yoga for about 8 years and am a 200-hour RYT, trained in teaching Hatha and Vinyasa styles. My own journey with yoga hasnโ€™t been without challengesโ€”an elbow injury has given me a personal understanding of the struggles that come with practicing yoga while managing injuries, and itโ€™s inspired me to help make yoga accessible and approachable for everyone.

When Iโ€™m not on the mat, youโ€™ll usually find me outdoors hiking, walking, or kayaking, and soaking up the beauty of nature. I also love spending time with my family, friends, and pets, who bring so much joy and grounding to my life. I love traveling, trying new foods, curling up with a good book, and crocheting.
